The following amendment has been made to the 'Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 14 July 2015 at 07.00 BST.

The reference to 'repurchased 17,000 New Global Shares' has been changed to 'repurchased 27,000 New Global Shares'.

The total of New Global Shares held in Treasury has changed from 790,000 to 800,000.

The total voting rights has been changed from 'the figure of 491,272,478' to 'the figure of 491,262,478'.

All other details remain unchanged.  The full amended text is shown below.  A separate announcement will be made disclosing the total voting rights of the Company as at 22 July 2015.

Transaction in Own Shares

The Company announces that pursuant to the general authority granted by shareholders of the Company on 4 June 2015 to make market purchases of its own New Global ordinary share capital ("New Global Shares") and of its own Extended Life ordinary share capital ("Extended Life Shares"), it repurchased 27,000 New Global Shares at a price of 75.50 pence per New Global Share, to be held in Treasury, on 13 July 2015. The Company also repurchased 50,000 Extended Life Shares at a price of $1.0765 per Extended Life Share, to be cancelled, on 13 July 2015. This represents approximately 0.02 per cent of the Company's current issued New Global Shares and approximately 0.02 per cent. of the Company's current issued Extended Life Shares.

Following this transaction, the Company has 110,785,785 New Global Shares in issue of which 800,000 are held in treasury. The Company also has 320,130,479 Extended Life Shares and 61,146,214 Ordinary Shares in issue of which none are held in treasury. All shares have 1 vote per share.

For reporting purposes under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules the market should  exclude any shares held in treasury and should use the figure of 491,262,478 total voting rights when determining if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company.
