Statement re Suspension

                            Suspension of trading


Following its announcement on 26 July 2001, the Company has requested a
suspension in trading of its Ordinary Shares on AIM pending the outcome of the
EGM to be held at 9.30 am today, 17 August 2001. At the EGM resolutions will
be proposed to voluntarily wind up the Company and to appoint a liquidator. A
further announcement will be made following the conclusion of the EGM.
