                         Notice of Preliminary Results

Evolutec Group plc (AIM: EVC), the biopharmaceutical company developing novel
products for the treatment of allergic, inflammatory and autoimmune diseases,
will announce its Preliminary Results for the eighteen months ended 31 December
2004 on Wednesday 2 March 2005.

An analyst briefing will be held at 10:00am at Buchanan Communications, 107
Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN, on the day of the announcement, followed by a press
briefing at 11:30am.
