                            Appointment of Director

nanoUniverse is pleased to announce the appointment of  Mr Theodoros Fessas as
a  non executive director with immediate effect. Mr Fessas is Chairman of Info
Quest  S.A.,  a  company listed on the Athens Stock Exchange,  capitalised  at
approximately  EURO 630 million and which controls Ergodata  SA  of  which  Mr
Fessas is also Chairman and which holds 2.25 million shares in nanoUniverse.

Theodoros  Fessas  (aged 49) has been a director or partner of  the  following
companies during the past five years:

Mr Fessas has not:

    (i)  got  any  unspent convictions for  any  indictable offences;
        
    (ii) been declared bankrupt or made any voluntary arrangement with his    
         creditors;
       
    (iii)been a director of a company at the time or within twelve months     
         preceding any receivership, compulsory liquidation, creditors'       
         voluntary liquidation, administration or voluntary arrangement of    
         that company or any composition or arrangement with that company's   
         creditors generally or any class of creditors;
       
    (iv) been a partner in a partnership at the time of or within twelve      
         months preceding any compulsory liquidation, administration or       
         voluntary arrangement of that partnership;
        
    (v)  had any assets which have been subject to a receivership or been a   
         partner in a partnership at the time of or within twelve months      
         preceding an asset of the partnership being subject to a
         receivership; or
        
    (vi) been publicly criticised by any statutory or regulatory authority    
        (including any recognised professional body) or been disqualified by a
         court from acting as a director of, or in the management or conduct  
         of the affairs of, any company.
