Murray International Trust PLC (the "Company")

ISSUE OF EQUITY

The Company announces that, on 6 September 2011, it issued 380,000 new ordinary shares of 25p each (the "New Shares") for cash at a price of 876.0 pence per share.  The New Shares rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares.  Application is now being made for the New Shares to be admitted to the premium segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities, and dealings are expected to commence on 12 September 2011.

Following this issue of shares, the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 108,136,628 and the number of B Ordinary shares in issue is 859,306 with each Ordinary and B Ordinary share holding one voting right.  Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 108,995,934 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
