Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the London
Stock Exchange for a total of 44,124 B Ordinary shares of 25p each ('shares') to
be admitted to the Official List.


It is expected that permission to admit the new shares will be granted on 21 May
2004 and that admission and trading will commence 24 May 2004.


These shares are being issued as a result of a capitalisation issue of 44,124 B
ordinary shares of 25p each on the basis of 3.8449 B ordinary shares for every
100 held.


When issued these shares will rank pari passu with the existing B ordinary
shares.
