MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACKMURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK



On 24 February 2006, Murray Income Trust plc purchased 45,000 of its own 25p
ordinary shares at 651.75 pence per share.  These shares will be held in
treasury.



Following the transaction, the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
66,186,458 (excluding treasury shares) and 66,416,458 (including treasury
shares) ordinary shares of 25p each.  The number of ordinary shares of 25p held
n treasury is 230,000.
