MURRAY INCOME TRUST PLC - SHARE BUY-BACK


On 18 March 2004 Murray Income Trust PLC purchased for cancellation 100,000 of
its own ordinary shares at 423.5p per share.

Following the transaction the Company's issued ordinary share capital is
70,055,458 ordinary shares of 25p each.
