Announcement of Fourth Interim Dividend

The Directors of Murray Income Trust PLC (the "Company") have declared a fourth interim dividend of 12.75p per Ordinary share in respect of the year ended 30 June 2023 (2022: 11.25p). As a result, the total dividend for the year is 37.50p per Ordinary share, representing a 4.2% increase (2022: 4.3% increase) on the previous year's total dividend of 36.00p per Ordinary share, and is the 50th consecutive year of dividend increases announced by the Company, in its centenary year since incorporation.

 

The fourth dividend will be paid to shareholders on 14 September 2023 with a record date of 18 August 2023 and an ex dividend date of 17 August 2023. This dividend follows the Company's first three quarterly interim dividends, totalling 24.75p per Ordinary share, which were paid in December 2022, March 2023 and June 2023 (total for year ended 30 June 2022: 24.75p).

 

The latest date for receipt by the registrar, Link Group, of mandate instructions for those shareholders wishing to join the Company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan is 25 August 2023.

 

In line with best practice in corporate governance, the Company puts forward its policy to pay four quarterly interim dividends for shareholder approval at each Annual General Meeting.
