PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Molins PLC announces that, following the approval of shareholders at the
Extraordinary General Meeting held on 8 December 1999 to purchase up to 10% of
the Company's ordinary shares for cancellation, it purchased today from Cazenove
& Co. 150,000 ordinary shares of 25p each at a price of 105p per share.
