Molins PLC, the international specialist engineering group, announces that
having regard to the planned retirement of Peter Byrom as Chairman of Molins PLC
at the end of January next year and in order to facilitate the transition, Dick
Hunter, a director of the Company since 2004, is appointed Chief Executive with
effect from today and a new non-executive director will be appointed with a view
to succeeding Mr Byrom as non-executive Chairman next year.

The Company expects to announce its results for the year to 31 December 2007 on
29 February 2008.
