APPOINTMENT OF SECRETARY

Molins PLC announces that Mr James Jordan will succeed Mr Christopher Horton as
Company Secretary on 7 August 2000.

Mr Jordan, 38, joins Molins from Rugby Group PLC where he was Company Secretary,
having previously been General Counsel to English China Clays PLC.
