MOUNTVIEW ESTATES PLC ('MOUNTVIEW' OR 'THE COMPANY')

Sinclair Estates Limited and Kingsway Wallpaper Stores Limited are two private
companies controlled by the Sinclair family that have now concluded a
reorganisation of their affairs. As a result, Mr. Duncan Sinclair, Chairman of
Mountview, has notified the Company of the following changes to his interests in
the ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company ('Shares'):
