Mountview have today been notified that Viewthorpe Ltd., of which Mr. D.M.
Sinclair (Chairman of Mountview) is a director, bought 2,475 ordinary shares of
5p each in the Company at a price of £28.50 per share on 28 August 2002. Mr.
Sinclair's non-beneficial holding in the ordinary share capital of the Company
is now as follows:

New:                   126,250     (3.24%)
