Appointment of Director

Mountview today announces the appointment, to take effect from 1 April 2004, of
Mrs Marie Bray to the Board of Directors.

Mrs Bray, who is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants,
will combine her existing role as Secretary to the Company with that of Finance
Director.

No details regarding Mrs Bray fall to be disclosed under paragraph 16.4 of the
Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
