Agreed Heads of Terms for EWS to Operate Cal Expo Race Meet

The board of Webis, the global on-line gaming group, announces that its pari-mutuel operation, European Wagering Services ("EWS"), has agreed non-binding heads of terms with the directors of the California Exposition & State Fair ("Cal Expo") in Sacramento, California, for the lease and operation of race meetings at Cal Expo for a five year term to commence this autumn.

Completion of these arrangements remains subject to, amongst other matters, (i) agreement of final contracts between EWS and Cal Expo; (ii) allocation of race dates by the Californian Horse Racing Board ("CHRB"); and (iii) EWS receiving approval for an operator licence from the CHRB. These approvals are expected to occur in mid to late August with regular racing from November 2012 onwards.

The board will provide further updates as appropriate.
