Mothercare plc announces that Mrs Anna James a person discharging managerial
responsibilities has today sold 4,100 Mothercare plc ordinary shares at a price
of £3.71p per share.


Following this disposal, Mrs James retains 22,348 Mothercare ordinary shares
equivalent to 0.03% of Mothercare's issued share capital of 76,765,125 ordinary
shares.
