Morgan Sindall Group plc, the construction and regeneration group, is pleased to announce that its Construction & Infrastructure division has been awarded a two-year extension to its three-year Framework Agreement with Western Power Distribution to deliver excavation, cable laying and reinstatement works in the West Midlands region.

Morgan Sindall was originally appointed to the Framework, with an estimated annual value of £30+ million, in November 2014. The extension, which is worth up to a further £60m, will run until October 2019 and will enable Western Power Distribution to maintain and enhance its electricity network.

John Morgan, Chief Executive of Morgan Sindall Group plc, commented:

"We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract extension, which we believe reflects the close and productive working relationships we have with Western Power Distribution, and the quality of the work we do. It also reflects the range of skills and capabilities we have in our Construction & Infrastructure division and its strong position for the future."
