       MORGAN ASHURST TO HELP DELIVER £200M COUNTY CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMME


Morgan Sindall plc, the construction and regeneration group, announces today
that Morgan Ashurst, its construction division has been selected by
Cambridgeshire County Council as one of three major works construction partners
to deliver a seven-year building programme under a partnership agreement worth
over £200 million.

The capital build programme of major works, which has an option to extend a
further three years, is predominantly for primary, secondary and special
educational needs schools with projects ranging from £500,000 to £30 million.
The value of work to Morgan Ashurst could be about £50 million.

'Playing a major role in this project further reinforces our leading position in
the education market. We recently announced our appointment to redevelop
Bracknell and Wokingham College, a £25 million project, and this year have also
been appointed to work on the East Dunbartonshire schools PPP scheme, the
redevelopment framework at the University of Reading, and schools frameworks for
Liverpool and South Lanarkshire Primary Schools.'
