Morgan Sindall PLC 14 February 2005 Morgan Sindall plc ('Morgan Sindall') Contract Wins for Morgan Est Morgan Est, the Infrastructure Services division of Morgan Sindall, is pleased to announce that it has signed an Alliance Agreement with National Grid Transco ('NGT') for its West Midlands alliance project, part of NGT's £1.6 billion programme of gas replacement works. This follows the award of a Professional Services Contract in September last year. The Alliance contract is worth up to £320 million over eight years with a potential five year extension worth up to £200m. Work on the project is due to commence on April 1, 2005. Morgan Est has also been selected by Yorkshire Water as one of six partners for its 'Large Schemes' framework agreement, part of its investment plans for the next round of its Asset Management Programme, AMP4. This will involve competitive target costing and subsequent delivery of water and waste water schemes in excess of £3-4m, with a reduced number of its partners being selected to bid for each project. The agreement will run for five years and the total value of the schemes is approximately £250m.
