ON 28 JANUARY 2000, THE COMPANY PURCHASED FOR CANCELLATION 40,000 ORDINARY
SHARES AT A PRICE OF 945.00P PER ORDINARY SHARE, BRINGING THE TOTAL NUMBER OF
SHARES BOUGHT BACK TO 6,170,000.  THERE REMAINS 71,422,000 SHARES IN ISSUE.
