THE MONKS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

Annual General Meeting, 4 August 2009

 At the AGM held on 4 August 2009 all resolutions were passed, including those detailed below:

• The Company's authority to make market purchases of up to 14.99% of the Company's issued share capital was renewed. 
  
  Special Business
  
• The Company's object clause was amended; and
• New Memorandum and Articles of Association were adopted with effect from 1 October 2009. 

A copy of the resolutions concerning special business have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
