Appointment of Sally James

Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC ("Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Sally James as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect. She will be a member of the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees of the Board.

Sally is currently a non-executive director of Rotork plc, UBS Limited, Towry Holdings Limited and Barts Health NHS Trust. Sally previously held a number of senior legal roles in investment banks in London and Chicago.

Announcing the appointment, Gerald Corbett, Chairman of the Company, said: "We are delighted that Sally has agreed to join the Board as a Non-Executive Director. With her strategic skills and her experience of the financial services sector, she will be a valuable addition to the Board."

There is no further information required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R relating to Sally James. 

In accordance with the Company's Articles of Association, Sally will retire at the Company's Annual General Meeting on 17 April 2013.  She will be re-appointed by the Board immediately following the meeting.  Sally will retire, and be eligible for re-appointment by shareholders, at the Company's Annual General Meeting in 2014.

The Company will provide notification of any changes to the information required to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13R relating to Sally James arising between the date of this announcement and the date Sally is reappointed on 17 April 2013. 

Simon Nixon's Role

The Company announces that Simon Nixon's role has changed from Executive Deputy Chairman to Non-Executive Deputy Chairman with immediate effect. Simon will remain actively involved in the Company as part of the Board, with continued focus on strategic innovation and development.
