                  MIDAS INCOME AND GROWTH INVESTMENT TRUST PLC





On 19 November 2007, Midas Income and Growth Investment Trust plc bought back
350000 ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 150.5 pence per share.
Following the buy back, there are 46,004,950 ordinary shares in issue.  The
share buy-back will be financed out of the capital reserve.
