PROPOSED CANCELLATION OF THE COMPANY'S SHARE PREMIUM ACCOUNT - RESULT OF EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETINGS

Further to the Company's announcement on 27 September 2004 regarding a proposal to cancel its Share Premium Account (the
"Proposal"), the Company announces that the special resolution to approve the Proposal was duly passed at today's
Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders.  Proxies in respect of 10.38 million shares were lodged in favour of the
special resolution with proxies representing 2,000 shares lodged against.

The Extraordinary General Meeting of Warrantholders convened for today to approve the Proposal was not quorate and
therefore that meeting has been adjourned to 10.05 a.m. on Friday 29 October 2004.
