Elderstreet VCT plc announces that, on 28 May 2008, the Company
purchased 3,000 C Shares of 5p each for cancellation representing
approximately 0.20% of the issued C Share capital at a price of 79.0p
per share.

Following the above purchase and cancellation, the Company has
20,772,595 Ordinary Shares and 1,513,640 C Shares in issue.
