Replacement - Issue of Equity

The announcement released by the Company at 18:28 on 1 April 2010 entitled Issue
of  Equity as  HUG1400456 contained  an error  in respect  of the  date that the
Offers  for Subscription opened. The full  corrected version of the announcement
is as follows:

The Directors of Elderstreet VCT plc announce an allotment on 1 April 2010 of
1,540,945 ordinary shares of 5p each issued at a price of 76.0p per share
pursuant to the Offers for Subscription that opened on 1 December 2009.

Application for the Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for listed
securities will be made at the earliest practical opportunity.
