Replacement - Issue of Equity

The  announcements  released  by  the  Company at 18:28 on 1 April 2010 entitled
Issue  of  Equity  as  HUG1400456  and  at  16:37 on 16 April 2010 as HUG1404752
contained  an error in respect  of the price at  which shares were allotted. The
full corrected text of the announcement is as follows:

"The  Directors of Elderstreet VCT plc  announce an allotment on 1 April 2010 of
1,540,945 ordinary  shares of 5p each issued at  a price of approximately 80.4p
per  share (in accordance with  the pricing formula) pursuant  to the Offers for
Subscription that opened on 1 December 2009.

Application for the Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority  and  to  trading  on  the  London  Stock Exchange's market for listed
securities will be made at the earliest practical opportunity."
