Issue of Equity

The  Directors of  Elderstreet VCT  plc announce  an allotment  on 4 May 2010 of
267,012 ordinary  shares of 5p each issued at a price of approximately 80.4p per
share  (in  accordance  with  the  pricing  formula)  pursuant to the Offers for
Subscription that opened on 1 December 2009.

Application for the Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority  and  to  trading  on  the  London  Stock Exchange's market for listed
securities will be made at the earliest practical opportunity.

The Directors announce that the Offers are now closed.
