Issue of Equity (Correction)

The announcement released by the Company at 18:40 on 22 March 2011 as HUG1499213
incorrectly  stated the issue  price as "approximately  76.6p per share" when it
should  have stated "approximately 81.1p per share".  The full corrected text of
the announcement is as follows:

"The  Directors of Elderstreet VCT plc announce an allotment on 22 March 2011 of
3,129,169 Ordinary  shares of 5p each issued at  a price of approximately 81.1p
per  share (in accordance with  the pricing formula) pursuant  to the Offers for
Subscription that opened on 21 December 2010.

Application for the Shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing
Authority  and  to  trading  on  the  London  Stock Exchange's market for listed
securities will be made at the earliest practical opportunity."
