Elderstreet Downing VCT plc announces that it has issued a circular to
shareholders, incorporating a notice of Extraordinary General Meeting to be held
on 25 January 2005, requesting approval to change the name of the Company to
Elderstreet VCT plc and seeking approval for other resolutions in connection
with a forthcoming 'C' share issue.
