Mentmore plc ('Mentmore' or 'the Company') announced earlier today that it had
posted a circular detailing recommended proposals for the acquisition of the
Company by Safestore Acquisition Limited, to be implemented by means of a scheme
of arrangement under section 425 of the Companies Act 1985.

There follows a list of certain dealings for value in relevant securities which
took place during the period 22 December 2002 to 5 May 2004 (the last
practicable date prior to the posting of the circular) which were not set out in
the circular.  The persons involved in these listed dealings (who have only
recently provided details of their dealings) have given irrevocable undertakings
to accept the proposals.
