           Acquisition of Synex Network Services Ltd
                               
Further to the announcement released on 24 January 2001,
Mentmore Abbey has allotted 127,906 (in aggregate) ordinary
shares to the Vendors as part consideration in connection with
the acquisition of Synex Network Services Ltd.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange and UK
Listing Authority for the shares to be admitted to the Daily
Official List. The shares are expected to be admitted on 30
March 2001.
