National Express Group PLC received notification on 17 December 2001 from CGNU
plc on behalf of their subsidiary, Morley Fund Management Limited, that their
interest in the Company's share capital has risen to 4,160,219 ordinary shares
representing 3.15% of the issued share capital of the Company.
