National Express Group PLC received notification on 3
August 2000 from CGNU plc that following the recent
merger of CGU plc and Norwich Union plc, that their
combined notifiable interest in the Company's share
capital has risen to 6,347,033 ordinary shares, which
represents 5.3% of the issued share capital, made up as
follows:
