Notification of Board Changes


MJ Gleeson Group plc, the construction services, housebuilding and property
group, is pleased to announce the following Board Changes which are effective
from today's date:


1.    Robert James Jukes and James David Kay, both Executive Directors, and
Winston Stanley Bruce, a Non Executive Director, have retired from the Board.


2.    Anthony Edward Collins and Andrew Richard Muncey, both 45, have been
appointed to the Board as Executive Directors.


Tony Collins joined the Group from Cambridge University in July 1978 and has
worked in a number of roles within the Engineering Division.  He was appointed
Managing Director of the Engineering Division in September 2001.


Andrew Muncey joined the Group in September 1997 having previously worked for
Walter Llewellyn and Sons Limited as Construction Director.  He was appointed
Managing Director of the Southern Construction Division in May 1999.


The current shareholdings and options held by the new Directors are as
follows:

There are no disclosures required under section 16.4 of the Listing Rules.


Gleeson's Executive Chairman, Dermot Gleeson, said: 'I am grateful to the
retiring Directors for their outstanding service to the Group and am delighted
that we have been able to appoint two Directors of such exceptional calibre
and experience from within the organisation.'
