Notification of interests of directors and connected persons

The Company was advised today that on 4th April 2000, D J Gleeson a Director
of the company purchased 480 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in the Company
(0.005%), at a purchase price of £6.15 per Share. His resultant total is now
160,750 shares representing 1.6% of the issued share capital of the company.

The shares were acquired as a private purchase through an ISA.
