Mr P J Aitchison has retired as a Director of the Company with effect from the
1 October 1999. Mr Aitchison has been a Non-Executive Director of the Company
since 1994 and in that capacity served as a member of the Remuneration
Committee. The Company would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr
Aitchison for his contribution and to wish him well in his retirement.
