Amended - Blocklisting and Issue of Equity


The following announcement replaces RNS Number: 2067B issued at 12:48 on 7 April
2006.


The Company has applied to the FSA for the Blocklisting of 815,250 shares
however the Company has only applied for 385,000 under the MJ Gleeson Group
Executive Share Option Scheme (1991), not 385,250 as erroneously stated. The
full text of the amended document follows below.



The shares MJ Gleeson Group Executive Share Option Scheme (1997)

The Company has applied to the UK Listing Authority for the admission of 40,000
ordinary 2p shares, which were issued pursuant to the exercise of staff share
options, to be admitted to the Official List, and to trading on the London Stock
Exchange.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of the
Company and dealings are expected to commence on 12 April 2006. The issued share
capital of the Company following this announcement is 51,483,385 ordinary shares
of 2p each.

In addition the Company has applied to the FSA for the Blocklisting of 815,250
shares under the following schemes:

MJ Gleeson Group Executive Share Option Scheme (1997)                  120,250
MJ Gleeson Group Executive Share Option Scheme (1991)                  385,000
MJ Gleeson Group Share Save Scheme                                     210,000
