                   MITIE Group PLC ('MITIE' or the 'Company')

                         Interim Dividend Announcement



As referred to in the Company's half-yearly financial report for the six months
to 30 September 2007 released today, the Board of Directors of the Company has
declared an interim dividend of 2.8 pence per share. It will be payable on 8
February 2008 to those shareholders on the register on 11 January 2008.


The final date for receipt or withdrawal of elections under the MITIE dividend
reinvestment plan ('DRIP') will be 18 January 2008.
