                               Additional listing



Application will today be made to the Financial Services Authority and the
London Stock Exchange plc for 90,000 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each ('shares') to
be admitted to the Official List.



Admission of the new shares will be granted on 6 August 2002 and admission and
trading will commence on 7 August 2002.



These shares are being issued in connection with the acquisition of shares in
MITIE Lindsay Limited and MITIE HydroCat Limited, subsidiaries of MITIE.



These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary shares.
