Additional listing

Application will today be made to the Financial Services Authority and the
London Stock Exchange plc for 171,184 Ordinary shares of 2.5p each ('shares')
to be admitted to the Official List. 

Admission of the new shares will be granted on 16 May 2002 and admission and
trading will commence on 17 May 2002.

These shares are being issued in connection with the acquisition of shares in
MITIE McCartney Fire Protection Limited and KBS Fire Protection Systems
Limited, subsidiaries of MITIE.

These shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Ordinary shares.
