TREASURY SHARES

The Company holds a balance of 22,738 Mitchells & Butlers ordinary shares as treasury shares following the exercise of savings related options over 10,156 shares at prices ranging between 169p and 258.5p per share. 

As a result of the above, the number of shares in issue, excluding shares held in treasury is 404,866,565 ordinary shares.
