The Company has today been advised that, as a result of dividend reinvestments
within their Individual Savings Accounts on 30 June 2005, Bronagh Kennedy
acquired 10 shares and Adam Fowle acquired 9 shares in Mitchells & Butlers plc
at a price of 332.5p per share.
