              e-district.net plc ('e-district' or the 'Company')


The board of e-district announces that it has today given Steven Laitman
notice of summary termination of his employment contract with the Company.

On 23 February 2001 an injunction was served upon Steven Laitman freezing his
assets and proceedings were commenced against him for damages.

Together with its external advisers, the board has been investigating the
facts that have recently come to light and will announce the preliminary
results of that investigation as soon as the initial stages are complete. The
board remains unaware of any misappropriation of funds from the Company.
