Yoomedia PLC 15 March 2004 YooMedia Plc ('YooMedia') YooMedia extends Cartoon Network contract YooMedia, the interactive TV and mobile entertainment company, has signed an exclusive two-year contract with Turner Broadcasting System's Cartoon Network to provide the channel with interactive TV games on both UK digital cable platforms. The games will be accessible directly from the broadcast stream via the remote control red button. It is envisaged that at least 10 new pay-per-play games will be launched under the agreement. YooMedia and the Cartoon Network first became partners in November 2002 when YooMedia built the interactive TV games portal for the channel on Telewest. In February 2004, YooMedia extended Cartoon Network's reach into the pay-per-play games market with the launch of services on NTL. Both portals have between six and eight pay-per-play games scheduled at any one time including branded adaptions of popular cartoon series The Powerpuff Girls, Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry.
