Further to the announcement made earlier today, the Company has been
subsequently notified by AMVESCAP PLC ('AMVECAP') that, AMVESCAP and subsidiary
companies hold, on behalf of discretionary clients, 114,973,145 ordinary shares
of 1p each, representing approximately 18.28 per cent. of the issued share
capital of the Company. These shares are registered as follows:

Chase Nominees Limited                                              22,501,163
State Street London Nominees Limited                                   970,963


* Includes the 80,738,612 ordinary shares beneficially owned by Perpetual Income
  & Growth Investment Trust plc as announced by the Company on 8 September 2006.

None of these shares are beneficially owned by AMVESCAP.
