Distribution Agreement Signed

e-district.net PLC 6 June 2000 E-DISTRICT.NET PLC DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH TELEWEST e-district.net plc ('e-district'), the AIM-quoted owner and developer of LeisureDistrict.net, a leading interactive family entertainment community channel and content provider for interactive digital television, has signed a distribution agreement with Telewest Communications plc ('Telewest'). This latest agreement follows a UK distribution agreement with Cable & Wireless Communications plc announced on 30 March 2000. e-district's LeisureDistrict will be available in the UK through the two largest providers of digital cable services as well as having access to a large number of US digital cable operators through a distribution agreement with Worldgate Communications Inc. announced earlier this year. Telewest's digital subscribers will have access to many LeisureDistrict.net features including Games, Library, PetZone, Chat, Greeting Cards, Virtual Flowers, Private Messaging and Pal Pilot (buddies). e-district will also deliver a range of interactive advertising applications on the Telewest platform. Viewers will be able to interact with advertisements, request further information and purchase online.
