e-district.net PLC 3 April 2000 E-DISTRICT.NET PLC AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH UNITY PICTURES LIMITED e-district.net plc ('e-district'), the AIM-quoted owner and developer of LeisureDistrict.net, a leading interactive family entertainment and community channel, has signed an interactive digital production agreement with Unity Pictures Ltd. ('Unity'). This latest agreement follows a UK distribution agreement with Cable & Wireless Communications plc ('Cable & Wireless') announced on 30 March 2000. Unity is an award winning production and post production company with particular experience in digital techniques with work which includes commercials, titles, music promos, business programmes and digital post production. Unity's clients include BBC, CNN and Proctor & Gamble. E-District will include full page 'interstitial' interactive content rich moving picture advertising in its LeisureDistrict channel. Unity, part of a digital alliance providing integrated multi-media solutions, is presently developing interactive/TV internet commercials. E-District and Unity will collaborate to produce the interstitial Internet commercials on E-District's LeisureDistrict channel. E-District and Unity plan to launch the new interactive interstitial ads during May 2000.
