GEORGE TOWN CAYMAN ISLANDS, October 1, 2020 - Mineral and Financial Investments Limited (LSE-AIM: MAFL) ("M&FI") announces changes to its board of directors.

Mr. James Lesser will step back from his role as Chief Operating Officer of M&FI. However, Mr. Lesser has agreed to remain on the M&FI Board and continue to be an integral part of M&FI's governance, accordingly he will be appointed Non-Executive Director of the Company with immediate effect. Over the past several months Mr Lesser's time commitment advising international and supranational organisations has grown and impinged on his time availability for M&FI matters.

Jacques Vaillancourt, Executive Chairman of M&FI said "Jamie is a great colleague and a highly professional team player whose daily contributions will be missed. However, we are delighted and thankful that Jamie will remain on the M&FI Board and we will continue to benefit from his wise counsel. Jamie will be available for specific issues where his various talents can be used."
